All Ancients vs Chaos Battle: Final Confrontation

The ambient power dissipated as Tol's form fell unconsciously away, the nexus behind him the only vestige of power remaining.

Suddenly the ground bgan to shake and splinter as cracks raced across the subterranean floor and rupture into plateaus in several locations. The ceiling collapsed and gave way to reveal the sky, which had changed drastically. All traces of daylight had disappeared, even though the Sun ( in fact, three of them) were blazing brightly. The atmosphere had become completely invisible, revealing the myriad of stars and nebulae clouds in the cosmos. Moons, planets and other celestial formations all glimmered with power and cold light.

The astral configuration of constellar zodiacs spun wildly like malformed, broken clock, twitching and making odd crumbling noises as the entire continent threatened to be destroyed. Arcs of multicolored lightning jettisoned off of its sides and struck the ground with the accompanying scent of ozone and sounds of harsh buzzing. The air vibrated and hummed with energy like sickening radiation.

Tol had never been the true recipient of the power of all three Astral Spheres. The Nexus, the locus of power behind Ascension in the first place, had finally taken hold of its offspring once again. It was time to take hold of Myth, as well.

"Ascend,"

It commanded the Gods present.
